Traction Motor DR46/09AZ is a series wound,
four pole, forced ventilated DC motor, suitable for
Standard Guage and Metre Gauge Diesel Electric
Locomotives. This motor can also be used on
Medium Power, BG Diesel Electric Locomotives.

Armature assembly with sealed bearing
arrangement. |

Sleeve type axle bearings, lubricated with spring
loaded felt wick lubricator. |
