It consists of a 6 nos. Radial Grid Resistors of 60'' pie-shaped designed to convert electrical energy into heat dissipated to the atmosphere. The ribbon assembly has a consistent reset thermal expansion gap and is firmly held in place by retention pins. The frame of Resistor Grid is made of HRC steel and PU painted with matt Black colour paint. The Grid ribbon is the current carrying element of the Grid Resistor Assembly. The ribbon actually dissipates electrical energy in the form of heat.
