LOAD BOXESRADIAL GRID RESISTOR

It consists of a 6 nos. Radial Grid Resistors of 60" pie-shaped designed to convert electrical energy into heat dissipated to the atmosphere. The ribbon assembly has a consistent reset thermal expansion gap and is firmly held in place by retention pins. The frame of Resistor Grid is made of HRC steel and PU painted with matt Black colour paint. The Grid ribbon is the current carrying element of the Grid Resistor Assembly. The ribbon actually dissipates electrical energy in the form of heat. The Center taping also provided to all the Grid Resistors as (Terminal 1-2). The insulators electrically isolate the Grid ribbon from the frame which is grounded and mechanically support the Grid ribbon and terminals. The material for the insulator plate is of thermoset moulding compound having good insulation resistance and good dielectric strength. The Grid is having long life due to better cooling resulting in low temperature rise.
